Sign People II Jan 2008 In conjunction with the exhibition "Inlandia" at the Wignall Museum/Gallery, I was asked to contribute a piece that reflected on the Inland Empire, a large suburban area east of Los Angeles. I decided to continue on a topic I had started to explore in an earlier project. For Sign People II, I again took to the streets to document and interview people that twirl signs by the side of the road. The installation consisted of two opposite video projections. I was very interested in uncovering the stories of the sign twirlers. They were shown as subtitles over the video. Dual-Wall Video Installation Running Time: 18:23 loop   home page
